How do I change a Samsung Galaxy Avant from T-mobile firmware to MetroPCS?

My Avant had a meltdown and I bought a used one on ebay not thinking it would be a problem in it was a T- mobile Avant!

Will it be a problem? and if so how to I change it?

It really shouldn't be a problem. They are essentially identical aside from the branding. The APN settings might be different but may still work without doing anything.
You'll need to call Metro customer service to register the phone's ESN anyway, they should be able to assist you with any necessary changes.
