Root [T-Mobile] Using S3 w/ International Sim Card

Anyone try unsing the Tmobile Galaxy S3 w/ an international sim card? I'm going to Israel and have hear some reports that the S3 doesn't work well with international sim cards.
 
The phone would need to be carrier unlocked.

The phone would need to use the same bands that are used in Israel
