t-mobile vivacity getting stuck at t-mobile screen

My t-mobile vivacity, when i turn it on, does not go past the 't-mobile' screen and repeats itself. what is the problem and how can i solve it?

seems like youre in a boot loop.
Try pulling out your battery, wait 30 seconds, then put it back in.
Have you recently tried to install a custom rom or rooting your phone?
