T9

There doesn't seem to be a way to turn the regular keyboard into a T9 one, so I was wondering if there was an App that could do it? Any info on how would be helpful.

 

[Phenomenological]

On my phone doing the following gives a T9 option, but it may be specific to HTC phones. Worth a try though:

Settings --> Language and Keyboard --> Touch Input --> Keyboard Types
