Help Tablet Doesn't Charge!

This is decidedly one of the more unique pieces of tech advice I've ever seen; I'll have to remember it in the future.

Just made me a believer! Freezer trick worked but only kept in freezer like 15 min. I plugged it in to see if it worked and at first it didn't look like it did. I tried to power on justs for kicks and it powered up and started charging. I could not get it to do anything but show me the charging screen before, it would not charge at all. FYI: I have not been able to charge my Asus transformer with any other usb cord or wall socket and was told I would void my warranty if I tried and my unit stopped working. I would not buy this product again simply due to this issue. What happens when my factory supplied cords stop working?

I've plugged it into numerous wall outlets and even onto my computer and I still got nothing. My parents are giving me HELL about it, saying I've broken it. Is it the charger? I've read that it could also be a software problem, but I can't really talk to my parents right now. I've tried reasoning but they're pretty pissed. HELP PLEASE?!

Hold power button while unplugged for 20 seconds, then let tablet turn off by its self. Plug back into charger and your done. Charging will commence as normal. Remember. If it's an LG device use an LG charger. If it's Samsung use a Samsung charger. All device charging pins are set up just a hair differently. Using the correct charger for the device is always recommended.

I know that there is this but i tried several different chargers and they all wont charge my tablet properly. It will go up to 2% but no higher.
