Help tablet looses wifi connection and only works again after wifi have been switched off and on again

Hi,
I bought a little versus tablet to install it to my car. This is my first android device. I set up WiFi and it works fine until I put the tablet down for a while. When I want to use it again it has already disconnected the WiFi and does not want to connect again. I have to switch off WiFi and back on to get it working again. It says obtaining IP address and then connect without any problem.
Is there anything I can do with this annoying problem?

I'm not familiar with that tablet but if you go to the settings menu, then wireless and networks, wi-fi, advanced then Tap "Keep Wi-Fi during sleep" to place a check in the box beside it
