TABLET STUCK BOOTING UP

It's happened a couple of times when I've restarted my tablet, it gets stuck at the Google logo. I have my tablet in a case that has automatic sleep/wake. After trying to go into safe mode, my son suggested that I take it out of the case, viola! It worked. It hasn't done this only recently. Weird.

It the case tight? It could be exerting enough force on the tablet frame that it's accidentally pushing the power button.

The buttons are all exposed so there isn't any pressure - I don't think on the case. It is a snug fit. I was thinking maybe it's the magnet in the case?

It shouldn't effect booting, only sleep/wake.

I don't know but when I took it out of the case it started with no problems - and it doesn't do it all the time just every once in awhile.
