Help Tablet stuck in Recovery Mode after factory reset

Lurker
RCA Atlas 10 Pro-S

Android 7.0
Unrooted

I looked and saw my tablet was in Recovery Mode. Tried to reboot and got the RCA splash screen for a few seconds, went black for a second, back to RCA logo, and then back into Recovery Mode.

I selected to do a factory reset, and rebooted once it was done. Same thing happens. Loads to the RCA screen, flickers, then straight to Recovery Mode.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. I'm very new to all of this and would like to resolve it if possible without bothering my grandkids

That could be indicative of a corrupt system file. You may have to flash the factory firmware, if you can find it. How long have you had this tablet?

Thanks for the reply. I've had the tablet for about 5 months. I'm not sure what you mean regarding flashing the firmware, but I'll try looking into it. If you have a link or something that instructs on how to exactly do it, that would be great. This is my first android device.

I haven't been able to find anything specific about your model tablet. I found a few threads on XDA about the Viking Pro, but the firmware must match your device exactly. @lvt is correct that it could be a memory error, which means there's nothing you can do with firmware to fix it. Since it's only 5 months old, I'd suggest getting it replaced under warranty.
