Tablet Talk is an app that allows you to send and receive SMS (text message) on your Android tablet using your phone number. What it does is connect your phone and tablet over your WiFi network or Bluetooth. Then it uses your phone's SMS abilities on your tablet. It is similar to how you tether your phone and use its data connection.
It has tons of great features--too many to list--and will continue to be improved based upon user feedback.
