The guy in the bar is at least buying a drink while on wifi. I've seen the photography nonsense in Arches and Canyonlands.

I like some carrier bags - I make them myself to my specs for my tablet. I like fabric and color manipulation. I get what I want.

I might use a cell or tablet to check other scores at a game - or if someone asked when Warren Spahn was elected to BB Hall of Fame.

I usually bring my tablet or Chromebook to the bar when I go out for lunch on my days off. I'm still happy to engage another patron or bartender though. And hey, one day I helped a woman whose SD Card reader wasn't working on her laptop so I popped it on my Prime and emailed it to her.

The iPad Shutterbug.


Forgive the iPad Shutterbug -- she knows not what she does. This poor lady has an iPhone 4S with a better-quality camera that is much easier to use than the one in her large iOS device. She can be spotted at parties awkwardly holding up her iPad to snap a quick pic. And it's not uncommon for her to drop the iPad while clumsily trying to tap the on-screen camera button.
