Tablets and Cameras

Just wondering if anyone who has a tablet actually uses the cameras (if their Tab is equiped, that is).

I really don't. Personally I think the cameras on my Xoom could be replaced with more ram or storage space or something

I looked for cameras when deciding what tabs to get.I use them for all sorts of things. Sometimes there's a moment i want to capture and ill have the tab. I dont have to fidget around trying to find my phone and miss the opportunity. Im talking about the back cameras of course :D

It is difficult to take pictures with the tablets like Xoom and galaxy Tab. The manufactures should think sbout replacing camera with some other features.

People use the front camera more than the back camera (form video chat). But the high end tablets have smaller front camera and bigger back camera!!

I watched a kid trying to take a picture of Park Avenue in Arches NP on an Ipad - talk about awkward. Think she was trying to mess with settings at the same time.

I'll use the tablet if it's handy and there's a pic I'd want to email a family member.

I own a DSLR so that's what I use for my regular shooting. For those momentary captures I use my phone. I've used the camera on my Xoom all of two times IIRC.

Unfortunately, regardless of how useless it is, I can't see manufacturers removing functionality like that from a device.

I think it would be REALLY nice if I could hook up my 5DmkII to the Xoom and view a live feed of the scene I am shooting. Think live view with a larger screen
