Can this be done simultaneously while on 3g? I multitask and this is very important. I'm looking at the cliq and droid...

Yes this can all be done on 3G

i'm using my MyTouch as a modem and it won't surf and talk at same time - if i take a call or make a call, web connection goes dead and i've actually got to go "close" pdanet and then re-connect

is that talk/test/surf at same time, is that when you go the root route?

Thats because you must be using 2G which can only handle 1 at a time : Data or voice

3G can handle these simultaneously

my phone is showing a "3G" symbol at the top of the screen (MyTouch) and Tmobile's web shows 3G coverage for this area but i'm the fred flintstone of this stuff - is there a way to check in my phone settings to confirm whether i'm getting 3G or 2G service?
