Take a stand against human rights violations

As mentioned in my other post, I will be working very hard to do human rights work I'm Darfur and North Korea.

In the mean time, I have decided to do my part by posting on here to open people's eyes to the human rights violations and genocide around the world.

Anyone who happens to find another situation not posted here, please add to it!

Here is a good starting point.

I really think we need to fight for our rights at the place we live in. It's like the stupidity we have in the US that people make wills for their cats and dogs is ridicules. Instead of donating money to some fund that can cause some illness research or as you mention fight human rights. I'm sorry but this places are too far from me to help most of the this people. There is a nice site called Change.org which mostly deals with "local" issues.

SS1992 - I knew I was right about you.

I take my hat off to you.

From such an extremely difficult early life - to being a great fighter to help others see the way.

They say the stronger the wind the stronger the tree...... so you must be 1 damn strong mother.

Hard as nails.

I admire this - always will.

... I thought very hard ... wanted to reply with something that would remind you - that you are not alone...

I thought long.

Did not hit "reply" on a few messages because I believed it did not do justice to how awesome what you are doing... wanted to reply till it did justice and until I was satisfied.

Wow.

It takes a lot to really impress me so I am told...

This 1 reminds me just of you.

Good luck my friend.

The Force it is strong with you...

;-)

In Europe, Russia has really gone to shit I suppose. Turkey isn't too good on the human rights front either, but at least it's a democracy.

I suppose Syria is the fairly obvious spot for human rights violations at the moment, however the plight of the Muslim Rohinga people in Burma is worth a look at.

Anyway, you can't fix everything, but you can take a nuanced view on things and keep yourself informed.

I don't know how to express myself, a lone person holds a whole country closed, do what he wants to do to his own people without anyone to interfere.

North Korea

How can the U.N let it go, everyone sit idle doing nothing.
