Tampa, FL area reception

Considering switching to TMO when the S4 drops. I have heard mixed reviews on coverage in Tampa area. I picked up a SIM for my wife's ATT S3 and she gets great speeds in southeast Hillsborough. I was just wondering if anyone can chime in on their coverage in other areas of Tampa or any bad dead spots. I've looked at the coverage maps and Open Signal but have found in the past that these aren't the most accurate. Thank you for any input.

I live in Brandon, and drive to Tampa every now and then. Service is excellent where I live, and Ive never had any issues in Tampa. Data speeds are consistently around 8 to 15 mps (Galaxy S3). Never have any issues with call quality or dropped calls either. Hope this helped!

I can tell you that the Westchase area has good signal. I live ~2 minutes away from Alonso High School driving and I had full bars of connection on my phone.
I can't tell you speeds except EDGE since I was on an iPhone which was 0.01-0.10Mbps

I'm also considering switching to the S4 on the 2GB plan and I'm curious about T-Mobile's reception and services in Tampa.

Thanks.
