Task Killers vs. AutoKiller Memory Optimizer

So I've heard that AutoKiller is better than all task killers, but whenever I use AutoKiller, my phone is always slow and freezes a lot. Any opinions on this?

my opinion is that android knows what apps to run and what apps to close...so i dont use task killers.

i did some research on task killers when i first got my phone and was swayed against them.

im sure someone will shed some light...my post isnt very helpful.
