Tasker 4.7 u3 on LG Lucid VS840

Is the current release of Tasker (4.7 u3) supported on a LG Lucid VS840 running Android 4.0.4?

A Tasker apk created on a 5.1 device keeps throwing an error of unfortunately stopped.

I installed Tasker on the LG Lucid, added a single simple profile monitoring power and display a flash. It is working. I cannot however enter the Tasker UI a second time to do anything.

My approach is to try running the project in the compiled app directly under Tasker on the LG Lucid to zero in on the error(s).

Ideas would be appreciated.

I attempted to run Tasker 4.7 u3 under Android 4.0.4 and these were the results ...

I did a Factory Data Reset and installed Tasker from Play Store
I added a simple profile that would display a Flash when power was applied
It worked correctly
I exited Tasker
Tasker refused to load again either from Play Store or the icon on my screen

I uninstalled Tasker
I installed Tasker
Tasker refused to load again either from Play Store or the icon on my screen

I observe that there was no tasker folder added to my SD card

There was no plug in SD card installed and there was no SIM card installed in my test phone

I have a Tasker 4.7 u3 project created on an Android 5.1 system
It operates correctly on Android 4.1.2, 4.4.4, and 5.1
Under Android 4.0.4 there are two issues

(1)
A Project with two profiles
One is triggered by calendar events
One is triggered by Monitor Start
Monitor Start does not seem to work under 4.0.4. The results are “interesting”
The solution was to eliminate the profile using Monitor Start and do it the old way

(2)
I have numerous scenes that use ...
Show Scene
Wait 4 sec
Destroy Scene
... under 4.0.4 this results in “Unfortunately NAME has stopped”

I changed them all to ...
Show Scene
Wait 4 sec
Hide Scene
... it now runs correctly on 4.0.4, 4.1.2, 4.4.4, and 5.1
