Tasker Auto Backup feature -> does it work?

Hi All,

Have someone succeeded to make working the Auto Backup feature in Tasker?

Please advice with the configuration, for some reason it doesn't work for me. The Google Drive Backup also doesn't work ...

Here is it:

Wanna try on your side? I'm using v5.6 of Tasker. You get to this menu from Preferences Menu.

Actually I'm looking for a way to backup my Tasker Profiles/Tasks/etc automatically.

The documentation says …

sd card/Tasker/configs/auto​

The auto backup is invoked when the option is set in preferences and you exit from the main screen.

There has to be a change made that is being applied at that time. It will ask you if you want to save it.

I did not try to restore any of the backups.

Ok, now it worked for me as well ...
But, is there a way to automatically backup the Tasker Projects (seperately each one)? is there a way to write such task ?

I don't know of a way to do that automatically that was reliable.

A change must be Applied either by tapping the checkmark or going through the Exit on the main screen.

A backup before then will probably result in some elements being out of sync.

Earlier versions of Tasker did not have the check mark method and out of sync copes were very common.
