Tasker Car Profile Headache.

Hello,

I've been trying to configure Tasker for few days, following various guides but can not get it right.

I have an Android phone and an Android head unit in my car.

I would like to set Tasker to turn on my phone's Mobile WiFi Hotspot when it pairs with the Car-Kit via Bluetooth, then when the Bluetooth disconnects, I would like it to re-enable WiFi.

I keep forgetting to re-enable WiFi when leaving the car, and in turn running up my data allowance.

Can anyone here help? Or point me to a proven guide?

Create (2) Task


Task 1: Car Enter
-A1: Wi-Fi Tether, Set: On

Task 2: Car Exit
-A1: Wi-Fi Tether, Set: Off
-----
Profile: Head-Unit
-Condition: State - Net - BT Connected, Type in Name of head unit into name box.

Create the unit, then select the task as the first task you made. Press and hold on the task after you make the profile, select add exit task, then select the second task you made.
