Tasker-intermittent problem

Has anyone experienced this problem with takser?

I have several Profiles active at the same time, and to my knowledge one does not conflict with the other. A few days ago this problem started. When I hit the tasker Icon it opens up tasker to my profiles then with in a second it goes back to my home screen. Sometimes this only happens once and sometimes 2 or 3 times before I can do anything, and it don't do it all the time....

I've noticed this problem if I have a tasker profile that uses the "battery changed" context. For some reason this context activates if the battery voltage level changes, not only the battery %. So that means it's constantly activating/deactivating whenever your battery changes in the tiniest way.

So I had to disable that context, now everything runs fine.

My Tasker it's not doing that.

Maybe another app is not playing nice with Tasker? Did you install any news apps around the time this started happening?

I do have a profile involving the battery level, i will disable that and see if the problem goes away....

Thanks....

When you are in Tasker, the screen will jump to the top if a profile becomes active/inactive while you are in the app. It's a minor annoyance, but you can just disable the Tasker monitor temporarily if you are using the app for any length of time.
