Tasker notify me when missed call.

I have 2 phones one for work and my personal phone. I am trying to set it up so that if i miss a call on my work phone it sends me an SMS to my personal phone. letting my know who called. I dont like carrying my work phone on the weekend and this would be a great help.

I have setup a profile that says.

Event: Missed Call
Caller: C:Any
Priority: Normal

Action: Send SMS
Number: MYNUMBER
Message: %CNUM

But this is not working. I get no sms to my personal phone when i create missed calls. Can anyone give me a hand here?

So you have one profile and one task. Your first step for debugging should be to isolate the problem. Does the task work when you start it manually?

Sorry to take so long getting back to you. And i appreciate your response. But to answer your question, yes when i hit the play button under the task it does send a SMS to my personal phone. So im not sure where the problem is. this would seem to indicate that the problem is with my profile. Any thought?

There's also a STATE "missed call", have you tried that?

From the Tasker manual: "This event activates every time there is a new missed call. If you want something to happen until a call has been notified, it's better to use the state Missed Call."
