tasker shortcut for new widget?

hi all

I want to find a super quick way of adding a new widget.
think the best way would be to have a shortcut that points to the desired
widget. but I'm told that this can't be done by current launchers.
so can Tasker do this?

So you want something faster than:

1) long press on the home screen
2) select widget

????

I don't believe any app can just create widgets on the fly, because it wouldn't know WHERE on the screen to place the widget.
