Tasker to gather gps location of target phone

Help! I can't get tasker to properly call a phone and return a sms with gps coordinates.

You need to be more precise in what you are asking.

Send an SMS and the other person also has Tasker. They rea all incoming SMS messages and when your request comes in it triggers sending the SMS to you that I posted earlier in this thread.

@Thom sorry to be a bother, but there is something i am not getting from this thread; Can i getc location of a mobile phone which does not have tasker installed? If so, are the above settings the ones to configure in the App?

No, you can't. The "target" phone must have software on it that is set up to respond to a particular request with a text containing its location. If you could just send a request to any phone and it would respond with its location that would be a massive security hole, and anyone who released a phone with that built in would be out of business 5 minutes after it was discovered.

If the person you want to locate agrees to this there are many apps you can use to share location with you.
