Help TASKER - USB charger connected (no power)

Hi,

I want to make a Profile in Tasker so that when my USB charger is connected at night, Tasker sends a HTTP command to turn on the socket (powered) via 433mhz.

The problem is how to have tasker recognize that the charger is plug-in to my telephone.

I have tried State USB Connected Any but Tasker does not respond to that as the charger being inserted.

State Power USB works, but only when the charger is plugged in.

Anyone know a solution to this?

Welcome to Android Forums.

Power AC senses it if the charger is plugged into the wall and does not if the charger is unplugged. (Actually it is a turbo charger and it will recognize it for a few seconds after it is unplugged. My guess is that it still has some residual charge.)

I could find no way to sense it without power being present.

Perhaps you could use a different trigger to turn it on ... time? ... response to a voice command?
