I am trying to make a profile on tasker that turns on gps when I enter google maps and turns it off when not in google maps. I can make the profile and task but when I actually try it and go into maps, it does not work. For some reason, tasker cannot turn the gps on. Does anybody know why this is and if it can be fixed? Also, just to be clear, I do have root and secure settings installed. Interestingly when I try and configure secure settings, all the options under system+ actions (including GPS) are greyed out and if I try and press one it says that the option is disabled.

I have it setup and it works, you do need to have it setup in secure settings. Have you given secure settings device admin privileges?
