Tasks/Calendar showing wrong dates for tasks linked with Google

I'm using the Calendar and Tasks apps (pre-installed) to connect my Google Calendar with my phone. The calendar works great for events, but for some reason tasks display with the wrong date. They're correct on Google Calendar online, they display on the phone's calendar and tasks apps, but they all display a day earlier.

Any suggestions? I've tried restarting, removing the Google account and re-linking it, both to no avail.

I also tried searching for similar issues, but most of the threads relating to this deal with the tasks not syncing at all, or predate the new apps altogether.

This is the only thread related to this issue I've found. Has anyone discovered a solution because I'm having the same problem 20 months later.
