I got it.

I noticed on my new receipt says "R Galaxy S7" I assume this means replacement and not refurbish, right?

Thanks man haha. Guess they just wanted to give me the phone and no accessories. Kept my old ones anyway, so all good.

Didn't even know an app existed for that!

I was searching around and couldn't find anything about that "R" bit, but got to thinking, would refurbished S7's even be out there yet being as how new they are?

Anyway, glad you got a new replacement @divybc !

I guess it means it's been replaced.

So if you return to the shop for any reason they can see at a glance from the receipt it's been replaced.

A refurbished phone wouldn't typically come in a full retail box. Usually a plain box and no accessories.

If you want clarification give the shop a call or pop in. After all for a £600+ phone peace of mind is warranted.
