friends....please tell me honestly

how many of you would support me???

I've serchd many threads n posted for help...i really believed that many of "android" guys would reply me...but i was dissapointed..only very very very few people replied to me...

MAny of us want to access wifi from laptops??(if we dont have a router)
So...finally "I" developed a new s/w for the solution[you need not even install this software]....its name is "mhotspot".

I would gladly support you but I have a HTC Wildfire, and since the Froyo update, there's a stock app on it called 'Wifi Hotspot' and it works just great.
 
Is this a desktop app to assist in making an ad hoc connection to share the PC's broadband connection? It's hard to tell. I'm also not sure how it's going to work if you don't install it, or what it is you're looking for help on.

its a desktop app and NOT AN ADHOC connecting....because...

ANDROID PHONES without rooting wont detect ADHOC n/W
 
I'm trying hard myself to see what this software achieves, that the OS doesn't already do. I'm already using my laptop's wifi sharing capabilities to send this post from my UNROOTED Samsung Galaxy S with 2.2, using the Phandroid app.
 
5 years ago, I'm sure that if I really tried, I could find a couple rare occasions to use this. Present day? Completely useless. Especially considering that the only practical use for this is turning a wired connection into a wireless connection, and for a measly $25 investment, you can carry around a wireless router or access point with you wherever you go, and it would do a much better job than your laptop.

hi...dude..u r really luky that u were born wid a silverspoon.
but did u knw that in some countries 25$= 25*().In mine..25*50

No problem, i moved it to the section devoted to all things computer and IT for you. Also, if you want a signature now that you have reached the 25 post mark you can make one, no need to use the 'fake' sigs (which is frowned upon)

Add proxy settings in it so phone can use internet when there is a proxy and you will have lots of downloads.

FYI I've also got an old Symbian Nokia E71 here as a spare phone, and that also connects just fine to my laptop's shared internet using wifi, no extra software needed. Laptop also works with my neighbour's LG Optimus and his daughter's rather low-end Lenovo phone as well using wifi.

I just go into system preferences > sharing > internet sharing > tick the box and we are in business.
