Is the Fascinate and the i9000 S similar as in the roms they use?

I have a i9000 S that I bought unlocked, but was originally a Bell phone. I am a Telus customer and I just noticed that they have the Samsung Fascinate in their lineup.

Can I use their rom if available? Would there be any difference between the Bell rom and the Telus rom, besides all the bloatware? Since I am a Telus subscriber would the phone run better for me?

No. They are different phones with slightly different hardware. XDA-Developer's forum has a bunch of ROMs for the i9000 that increase speed, functionality and looks.
