Temp Notification Won't Update

Since my last system update a week or 2 ago....the Weather Channel ongoing temp notification in the top left of the phone won't refresh regularly anymore. I have to open the App for it to refresh.

I've looked for the setting to keep it refreshing but can't find it.

Can anyone help?

Oddly enough, I restarted my phone today and the temp is now refreshing. Told my wife to do the same and her's is now working to.

Sometimes stuff just gets hung up. If it happens again you can try going into settings/apps/Weather Channel and clearing cache and then force stopping it. That can help 'un-stick' an app, maybe.
