I've been looking for a good tempered glass solution for a while now. The slight curve on the edge of the glass makes it hard to get full coverage and no halo effect.
I tried Xtremeguard - and as long as you are ok with about 2mm of the edge not being covered, it is ok. Very inexpensive (if you wait for their 90% off sales, which are fairly common). Good customer service.
I then tried IntelliArmor - it has almost the same coverage as Xtremeguard (maybe a tiny fraction more), but it has a better feel - more 'slicker'. A little more expensive, but not too much. Good customer service as well.
I finally tried IntelliArmor Pro - this one has more coverage - but given the curved edge of the screen, that causes Halo effect (edges don't stick, and it shows as a white edge - not pretty). To get around this, they made the edge of the glass black (which is ok - because the screen doesn't display anything in that area). So, the halo doesn't show up, but just be aware that the edge is not completely sticking to the display. Eventually, I suspect there will be dust particles that will end up there - I don't know yet. So far, it looks good.
