ZTE ZMAX 2 Z958 - TEMPORARY ROOT
The other day, I was surfing the web and trying to find a way to root my ZTE ZMAX 2. After looking through some forums, I came across a program called "Kingo Root". Some of you may of hear about this program, but I am just confirming that this program DOES ROOT the Z958!
THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROOT, MEANING WHEN YOU REBOOT YOUR PHONE AFTER ROOTING, YOUR ROOT WILL BE GONE!
WARNING - I am not responsible for any damage to your device. Follow at your own risk.
HOW - TO
1) Download Kingo Root to your PC or Mac and install (links below).
2) Enable Developer Mode. (Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Hit "Build Number" Until the Developer Options are visible from the first panel of Settings.
3) Plug in your ZMAX 2 and accept your PC's RSA fingerprint, if nessecary, and check "always allow from this computer"
4) Hit the "ROOT" button on your PC and watch the magic happen. (There were a lot of ads on mine but just keep closing them.
5) Mine took some time so you may need to wait a few minuted.
6) ROOT SUCCEEDED!
