Root temproot my touch 4g 2.3.4

i was wondering if there is a way to temproot mytouch 4g 2.3.4 update i just got it and its loaded with crap apps i will never use and i just cant go in and uninstall any help would be awesome thanks

As far as I know- at this time the answer is NO.... but I hear we are "weeks away" (maybe, and hopefully DAYS away) from a direct root solution for 2.3.4.

As has been said before, if you have the GB upgrade, you can downgrade to 2.2.1 Froyo and work a root solution setup and then upgrade to 2.3.4. It's here somewhere, and on the XDA developers website.

For me, it's too much hassle to downgrade and then move fwd again. I'll wait until a direct GB perma-root solution comes out.

yea its to much of a hassle downgrading just to root them updating again ill be patient do u know what site is working on it and posting progress i have rooted before so im no neewby thanks

I temp-rooted my 2.3.4 Mytouch 4g this way. Although there is no way to currently do a (real) root your phone, it is possible to temp-root your 2.3.4 Mytouch 4g.
