Terrible reception in stormy conditions

I live in northwest Washington, and we have recently been experiencing some stormy weather. During the storm, I had no Fi coverage whatsoever, for 8+ hours. My work phone, on an AT&T SIM, had no such problems. I checked the Fi, T-Mobile, and Sprint websites for outages in my area, but I found none.

Anybody else experience anything like this?

I have an app named Signal Spy that is made for Fi. It shows which carrier Fi is using and allows you switch if you want to.
