For some reason cricket is getting to become a more messed up company as I speak, who the heck charges their customers $10 more to use their phone to tether? Anyway is there anybody who know a way around this at all? Plz help me.

I have never tethered myself, so cannot help (sorry), but thought I'd put the link up for you, as I noticed that your post had not been answered.

I recently upgraded myphone with Cricket to a smart phone. The plans they offered was Unlimited everything for $55 or Unlimited everything + Muve Music for $65. I wanted tethering, so they gave me $55 unlimited data + $10 Tether which turned out to be Muve (2.3.5).

on a m860, mac, any browser. use https
block averted. i suspect they use stateful packet inspection (spi) and an algorithm to determine what's in your packets and block accordingly. now if you use https you can get around that as the packets are encrypted and cricket cant snoop into what you are sending. also an ssl proxy will happly sidestep their blocking. i use it every day with wifi tether and barnicle
