Tethering over Sprint 4g

Here is a real quick question about tethering on Sprint's 4g network.

I am tethering on my netbook and want to watch episodes of my favorite show. The question is does Sprint have any data limits over 4g? The reason I ask is because I really do not want to tip them to the fact that I am tethering my phone without paying them 30 bucks a month.

If there is a limit how much is it?

Sprints cell phone plans are unlimited data for both 3G and 4G. You will never be charged extra for data useage with Sprint. (This is the main reason I am a loyal sprint customer.) Although, if you are tethering without paying, you do run a risk of them terminating your account. I think the liklihood of them finding out is pretty slim, unless you abuse it.

Yea exactly the reason I ask that question. I thought that I saw something that there was some soft download cap over 3g but over 4g I think was no cap because you can tether with sprint hot spot endlessly that is over 4g

Right, I think that applys to the Data cards for your computer. With the computer data cards, there is a 5GB cap for 3G and the 4G is completely unlimited. Whereas on your actual cell phone, both 3G and 4G are unlimted, even if you tether it to a computer.

i thought that the hot spot and tethering features are greyed out unless you pay the extra dough. am I wrong?

I tether with PdaNet it is pretty nice plus it has the sms client so I can write the sms right from the computer instead of playing around with the phone. Plus I have not yet rooted my evo.
