The tethering guide sticky was just for T-Mobile in the USA. T-mobile UK allows tethering on the old web'n'walk option. On the current plan you can tether but will be limited by the Fiar Use Plan located here: Fair Use Plans - Our Services - T-Mobile

Thanks for the info I believe I'm on Web'n'walk so does that mean once I pass my 500mb fair usage I won't be able to tether or just not download things, also does anyone know if once you pass the fair usage do Tmobile cap the speed or will I still get 3g
