Help Tethering?

im trying to see if tether works. I have turned it on. My iPad sees the phone.

But looks like it’s asking for a password.

Where does that password come from?

You should be able to find the password in the phone's personal hotspot settings, that the iPad needs.

You can change that password if you like by going into tethering setup.

yeah i found it i had to scroll down lol. All I saw was the name given to the hotspot. Now i have the pw set. It connects but there is something wrong at the cell providers end. I cant open any web pages.

I'm assuming you have a cell contract that allows you to tether? (not all of them do... supplemental fees may be involved)

Yep.
Just because it gives you the option to setup tethering, doesn't mean it will unless you're carrier has you setup for it also.

If you got the three FoxFi you could..it's worthwhile to try.
