What we have here is failure to communicate. Um, no that's not it. It's failure to impress. As far as Tetris goes...I've give brownie points for effort. The game does keep up to classic standards for a Tetris clone. But that's where making me smile ends. I mean seriously...if you're going to add the word "PLUS" to a clone's title (in big bold letters, no less) then there should really be a plus side for downloading it. I mean, yes, free background images are nice. And they ARE high quality images, but let's face it...when you chose your phones layout, you probably had some very particular thoughts in mind for the style or theme of the background image(s) you would use. So at the very least, if you want to impress me or lure me in with free backgrounds...make them interesting to me. Or at least try. I also felt the file size was a tad bit hefty considering the game I'm playing. I do believe it's in the neighborhood of 1.1mb, which I assume is because it's carrying a few starter images in the base program. I guess that's find, but still...some of the older Android phones may not have all that much space for such otherwise small came. Especially if your anything like me and tend to be a bit of an app freak. Without promoting any specific models or makers, I can fit quite a bit mine, but that lessens when you starting adding large apps or games. Sometimes substantially. Especially if it's a HUGE game, but that's another subject. BOTTOM LINE? Was I impressed? No. But it does hold it's own basis of it's Tetris cloning. It's the "PLUS" that seizes to amaze. And in my eyes, that's bring it down to a strugglingly, barely-held 3 stars. And the PLUS side...I like Jello. (Cherry)
