Text a group on Moto G6

Hi,

1. I have a Moto G6.
2. I created a group names RCLASS in contacts.
3. I would like to send a text to everyone in RCLASS at the same time. I send one message and it goes to all 7 members of RCLASS.
4. What do I type? I bring up Messages, I type Start Chat. -- WHAT DO I ENTER UNDER To: How do I reference RCLASS?

You're doing it wrong.
From the contacts app, find your group, rclass, and tap the 3 dots in top right corner, choose send message, choose your messaging app from the drop down.
Type away and send
