Text addict

Hey people

New to the forums AND to Android, so bear with me with this simple question

Just got my MyTouch yesterday and I was wondering what apps would be perfect for a texting addict like myself? 3000 texts a month wears me down, and I'm new to the whole "touch" keyboard experience.

Any app suggestions, regardless of price, are definitely appreciated!

so far there only appears to be two alternative keyboards. One is the HTC Hero keypad which seems to be a total pain to install, the other is TouchPal, available on the Market Place. I'm currently using TouchPal, seems to be working ok until something better comes along. 3000 texts per month? Don't you have anything better to do?

Got ya. I'll try them both out.

And the 3000 mostly came from AIM. I didn't have a data plan
