So, I received a text form the Verizon texting number (900080002021) today. The content of the text was //BREW: (long string of random text and numbers). A quick search on Google showed a few posts about it in a crackberry forum. They were basically saying that it has something to do with dumb phones as those are using a software called BREW. A text is sent to the phone and is picked up by the phone and interpreted into the notification. They were saying that it is usually a VM notification.
I was just wondering if anyone else has gotten a text like this. If you have, what did you do to stop them? Did you need to do anything to stop them?
