I'm having a problem with texts, some are not being sent and I'm not receiving others....or sometimes I do but not til a day later! Is that a phone or phone provider issue? Anyone else having the same problem?

Phone provider = 3, which probably says it all! Although to be fair I've been with them for a few years and never had this problem before.

Firmware version = 2.1-update1

OK I should have said Build No instead of Firmware, but I'll assume you are on or above JD1.

SMS app is the Android Application you use to send the SMS's.

The default one is Messaging or another very good one is Handcent?

If you are use Messaging ie the default, then I reccommend changing it to Handcent. See Market for details.

Disable Messaging notifications, from within default Messaging App first, and then set Handcent to your default SMS app.

Also check the default SMS messaging Centre No. is correct and uptodate.

Load original Messaging App.
Menu
Settings
Message Centre No.

And upgrade your Messaging App to Handcent.
