When I use my bluetooth headphones (Swage by Rockit Boost), after I turn them off, my phone no longer has a sound with text notifications (even though all the settings are correct). The problem resolves when I restart my phone-- until I use the headphones again-- once I turn them off, no more notification sound. Any idea how to resolve this without restarting my phone every time I use headphones?

Instead of restarting the phone, have you just tried turning Bluetooth on your phone off?

Galaxy S7 Edge. I'll try turning bluetooth off and on, which would be better than restarting. (but needs to be on for other devices)
I'll move this to the S7 Edge area, other folks might have had the issue and be able to help.
