How do you save a text message?

Go into text area then long press the text you want to save, then press protect text. Done.

That protects it so you cant delete. Technically you cant save it unless your on another sms app.
You can however save mms content.

I did no of an app that utilized dropbox to store sms to send it to a tablet but i forget its name...hmm

there are sms backup apps, can't think of the name of the one i was using, i think it was sms backup and restore.

You can always forward them to your email address or use an app such as printershare to print them.
