How can I increase the number of text recipient in the message box?

What carrier?
Is your phone locked or unlocked ?
Are you rooted ? (Probably not but want to ask)
Are you using the stock samsung texting app?
If you are,
Click on the pencil icon
It should open up your contacts
Tap on each contact you want to send to

I have a T-Mobile variant device. I use textra so its a bit different than the built in one.

I'm on an unrooted s5 and i was able to add 40 (didn't try more then that, but I'm sure it would work) people to the recipient list in textra. The stock messaging app seems to have a cap of 10.
Therefore, just download textra and u should have the option to send to as many people as you want.
