Help Text Msg App not picking up FB contact (ICS problem?)

I have an entry for Bob Jones in my Contacts. This contact includes a cell. But when I am in the Text Messaging app included with ICS and I type the first few letters of his first name OR last name, Bob Jones does not appear in the drop-down list. In order to text Bob, I have to go into Contacts, find his name there, and initiate the text.

Previously this was not a problem, and I'm not sure if it started happening after the ICS update or the factory reset I did following the ICS update.

Ideas?

I think I fixed this by removing the FB account and re-adding it from the Accounts option in the Contacts app.

its a problem with ICS, there are apps on the market that do this for you. I use contact-sync

If I am understanding you correctly, it has always been an issue in my experience. Basically as I see it the phone can see a number with a Facebook profile but doesn't know whether its a mobile number or land line so the text program doesn't allow to text unless go through it in the contacts like you said or create a new contact for them and then can link them or leave them separate. Seems dumb but so does some other stuff.
