I must've overlooked a permission or something, as I'm now getting spammed from 310-270-7237 for ads about income taxes. I'm at work, so I don't have time to read through all my apps, but I'm hoping one of them might jump out to someone else and it may help me narrow down the suspects. Also, is it foolish for me to reply with STOP? I'm worried that'll confirm my number as valid to the spammer....

I wouldn't use stop. You just might get crammed and find a $9.99 charge on your phone bill.

Someone else might have the info - but I thought I saw a post that one of the texting apps will block spam. I'd like to find that post myself just in case.

I think the apps that block them just prevent you from getting notified, you still get charged for them
