Text zoom when correcting

Are there any apps / built in features for Android that allows for text zoom when dragging the cursor to correct / select a word - e.g like this on the iPhone:

I find it very fiddly to select a word or position the cursor accurately without lots of messing about....

I've just had a mess about with the keyboard I use, Fleksy, and it zooms in like that: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.syntellia.fleksy.keyboard (there's also a free, trial version).

Swiftkey also has an additional row of arrow keys which makes navigating text fields easier so you can give that a go too.
