Hello, I guess the main question is whether your phone is rooted and are you running a custom rom?
Simple non-multi-media texts use the same cell tower signal as your voice calls. Do you have sufficient signal strength? Does it time out out when trying to send or does it appear that it was sent, but the receiving party never receives it?
