Texting and using Speaker

Phone is Samsung Galaxy Stratoshere II Carrier is Verizon. I'm trying to use speaker text to type out my text when using the GO SMS I'm on the swype keyboard and it's telling me no network available. How do i set up the network for this to work?

You have to be connected to the internet in order for this to work. The default Google keyboard allows text to speech if you're running 4.2 or above...but Swype is powered by Dragon and they do not function offline...(unfortunately...cuz I love my Swype and nothing comes close, but I would also like speech-to-text.)
